近年来，鄞州区教育局和鄞州区文化和广电旅游体育局通过开展“中华优秀文化艺术传承学校”和“艺术教育项目培育基地”的创建活动，经过五轮的评定，已有56个项目被评为区中小学艺术教育项目培育基地、20所学校被评为中华优秀文化艺术传承学校。将中华优秀传统文化、艺术教育融入校园，探索学科融合协调发展，提高学生审美和人文素养，形成艺术教育“一校一品”“一校多品”局面，促进学校多样化、特色化发展。
